Godność kobiet w Kościele. Założycielskie postulaty Światowej Rady Kościołów z dzisiejszej perspektywy
Abstrakt
Zagadnienie godności kobiet i wynikającego z niej należnego im miejsca w Kościele zajmuje ważne miejsce w refleksji ekumenicznej. W szczególności kwestia ta pozostaje znaczącym obszarem zainteresowania Światowej Rady Kościołów od samego początku istnienia tej organizacji, czyli od I Zgromadzenia w Amsterdamie w 1948 r. Temu nieprzerwanemu zainteresowaniu ze strony ruchu ekumenicznego towarzyszyły w świecie, od połowy XX wieku, znaczące przemiany społeczne, polityczne, religijne i gospodarcze, które wpłynęły również na sytuację kobiet. Z tego powodu artykuł bada założycielskie postulaty Światowej Rady Kościołów, aby odpowiedzieć na pytanie, czy i w jakiej mierze Radzie udało się je zrealizować. Artykuł rozpoczyna się od przypomnienia roli kobiet w Kościele w dokumentach I Zgromadzenia Rady w Amsterdamie. Następnie realizacja sformułowanych wówczas wniosków i postulatów oceniana jest z dzisiejszej perspektywy.
