Theological Meaning of Ceremonies of the Sacrament of Holy Orders in Preaching the Word of God
Abstract
Preaching the word of God belongs to priorities of the priestly service. A homily, integrally bound with exercised liturgy, is a special form of delivering God’s truths. So that preaching brings adequate fruits and the benefit for listeners one should use all available ways of enhancing it. The ceremonies connected with the sacrament of Holy Orders can, in the specific way, contribute to the fortifying meeting with the word which is happening with source of restoration and growing for faith.
