Warsztat edytorski Czesława Zgorzelskiego jako wydawcy wierszy Mickiewicza
Abstrakt
Czesław Zgorzelski (1908-1966) was one of the most prominent experts and editors of Polish romantic literature. A special place among his achievements is occupied by the studies on the work and texts of Adam Mickiewicz within the frameworks of the new critical edition of his writings. Up to now two volumes Adam Mickiewicz's Collected Works have appeared, edited by Konrad Górski, a collection that is supposed to include a dozen or so volumes. The two volumes are as follows: I − four collections of Poems edited by Czesław Zgorzelski and IV − Pan Tadeusz edited by Konrad Górski. The volume edited by Czesław Zgorzelski is thought to be an unequalled model of the editorship of Mickiewicz's poetry, and at the same time the work of the Editor's life. His editorial works are profoundly connected with his vision of the knowledge about literature, the art of analysis and interpretation of a literary text. This is documented by a series of eminent studies.
