Heksametr Klonowica w poemacie Victoria deorum (ks. XXXI-XXXV) a utwory heksametryczne Dantyszka i Sarbiewskiego. Analiza porównawcza

Abstrakt

In the article I am drawing a comparison between the metrum of Sebastian Fabian Klonowic in the poem Victoria deorum − „in qua continetur veri herois educatio” (cantos XXXI-XXXV) and hexametric literary works by J. Dantyszek and M. K. Sarbiewski. The metrical problems appearing in the literary works by the above mentioned poets have a lot in common.

All of them observe, in general, the rules of Latin metrum and some slight deviations from the rule do not go beyond canons of consummate poets of Augustian Age such as Virgil, Ovid and Horace. I have carried out thorough metrical research of the preserved fragment of Lechiada by M. K. Sarbiewski. As for between − line elision there is quite an important difference between the poets. Dantyszek and Sarbiewski use it but Klonowic does not.
