Listy Stanisława Witkiewicza do Jana Steckiego 1901-1904

Abstrakt

The five letters of Stanisław Witkiewicz to Jan Stecki, landowner and social activist, were kept in the manuscript collections of the library of the Catholic University of Lublin. They deal with a design of a brick mansion in the Zakopane style which was built in Łańcuchów in the Lublin region. The Zakopane style, discovered and promoted by Witkiewicz, was then regarded as an original style, rooted in Poland which style expressed different characteristios of Polish national culture.
