Abstract
The author presents and discusses the reception of Herbert's works in Hungary from the sixties to contemporary times. The article opens an interesting and important interpretative perspective on Herbert's poetry. The essayist exposition of the subject joins information about the „reception” and an analysis of the phenomenon of a cult poet. In the author's opinion the ethical message in this work is the foundation for this type of reception.
