A Poznań Story Dedicated to All Ex – Present – Future Members of Disciplinary Commissions

Abstract

The article reminds of the events that took place in March 1968 in Poznań, as they were seen in letters written by a second year Polish philology student (Władysław Panas) arrested for political reasons. The whole is complemented by a commentary he gave after many years, and by the proceedings of disciplinary commissions that decided that he should be expelled from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań immediately.
