N. Han-Ilgiewicz's Approach to Rehabilitation
Abstract
For N.Han-Ilgiewicz education is a dynamic process. What keeps changing is educational conditions and situations and above all, children themselves. Rehabilitation is education. Its means and methods must serve the child and help him to grow. N.Han-Ilgiewicz was opposed to schematism and convention in children's upbringing and education. She championed the educator's right to creative activity. She herself was always searching for novel, original and individual solutions.
