Composites – Condensates in the Polish Lexical System (Against the Backdrop of the Slavonic Language). Some Remarks on the Complex Adjectives of the Type Dwuoki (Two-Eyed), Twardogłowy (Hard-Liner), Złotousty (Silver-Tongued)
Abstract
The reflections here concern Polish adjectival compounds of the type dwuoki (two-eyed) and twardogłowy (hard-liner) against the backdrop of the Slavonic language. They are characterised with a view to their structure, semantics, and function in the genetic approach: foreign and home structures that generate new forms.
