Abstract

The text is an attempt at describing the literary structure (the immanent poetics) of Gustaw Herling-Grudziński's Podróż do Burmy. This allows to properly situate the analyzed work in the broad domain of non-fiction and to indicate the most important characteristics of the writer's diarist conception.
