Editorship of Literary Works in the Light of the Philosophy of Roman Ingarden
Abstract
According to Ingarden's idea, the editor's task is to ensure aesthetic experience of the work of literature. To take a broader view, the editor is to make possible metaphysical qualities to appear. His steps will consist in mediating in the process of the concretization of the work of art in such a way that it could again brought to full existence as an aesthetic object.
