From the Point of View of the Weaker

Abstract

The world of Zbigniew Herbert's poetry that is characterised by its axiological element, is happening between the appearance of its official character and the truth of the secondary reality. The poet sympathises with that weaker reality and he surrounds it with “circles of sorrow”. Evangelical blessings are referred to as the interpretative context.
