The Religious Dimension of Andrzej Bobkowski's Stories Punkt równowagi, Spotkanie and Spadek

Abstract

Students' attention has chiefly been held so far by Bobkowski's famous French diary; there are also articles on his scattered and unpublished letters and analyses of his only play, Czarny piasek. But we are not likely to come upon a separate study devoted solely to his fiction. I deal here with what I think to be the most interesting side of his prose, its religious dimension.
