The Protective Function School
Abstract
The pedagogic literature concerning school concentrates most often on its didactic and upbringing function. The protective function of school is hardly discerned and that both in theory and in practice. This function involves many tasks related to the prevention and regulation of various needs of pupils. The importance of this function is linked first of all with that its quality conditions upbringing and instruction.
The purpose of the paper is to show the specific character and importance of this function. It signals the most crucial problems of the protective function of school.
