Abstrakt

The paper’s aim is to examine the relation between the social-occupational structure end the vitality of morality.

Two categories have been taken into consideration within the above-mentioned structure, i.e. peasants and workers. In the sphere of the vitality of morality two parameters have been considered, i.e. marital-familial and social morality.

The empirical and field researches that have been carried out, have proven that morality of the population under investigation in case of those mentioned parameters is quite high. The social morality is more intensive than the marital-familial morality, though. The latter is being formed not so much under the influence of religion, but rather in the social-cultural context. Peasants turned out to have a higher level of morality in both dimensions under investigation than workers. It is linked with the openness and heterogeneity of the social milieu which milieu first of all has a bearing on workers.
