On the Autonomy of the „System” of Metaphysics (Part 1)

Abstract

In this paper, we present a wide context of the use of the word a „system”. We take into account a lexical interpretation of the word a „system”, its philosophical-pragmatic and scientific context as well, in order to show the basis of its meaning.

As a result, we can say that the word „system” has, first of all, an analogical meaning. In the sciences, we see a tendency of the univocation of this term. As a consequence, we observe the reduction of metaphysical cognition to a way of cognition in another sciences which is a danger to metaphysical realism. Therefore, we have to look for the basis of the autonomy of a „system” of metaphysics.
