Temporality of Epistemology as a Form of Philosophical Naturalism

  • Zygmunt Hajduk

Abstract

The article surveys recent work on naturalized epistemology and its different kinds. In the first part the author concentrates on the historical aspect. In the second different kinds of continuity between epistemology and sciences are described. Naturalists differ among one another over the specific character of that continuity. This theme describes the third part of our paper. In the last one debate over the proper scope of epistemology naturalization and kinds of argumentation is examined. Throughout this paper the author explores some difficulties facing analyzed forms of naturalism.
