From the Universal Algebra to the Process Philosophy
Abstract
The early mathematical period in Whitehead’s life had an essential impact on his later philosophical views. Although he neser formulated, in an expressed wuy, and philosophical doctrines in his mathematical works, philosophical ideas are clearly present there. In the present paper we show, with the help of some examples, the connection between philosophical intuitions in valved in mathematical Whitehead’s program and his process philosophy. We also indicate other sources of this philosophy.
