Abstract

Lakatos' views on the developmet of mathematics are briefly presented. An important point of his conception is his attack on the formalistic philosophy of mathematics. In this way, informal features of mathematics are stressed out. Lakatos' views are a base of the author analysis on the structure of mathematics. The substantial element of these considerations is a showing of the new version of empiricism in mathematics. From this version it appears the new conception of truth as diverging from known "classical" schemes.
