Alliance of Poles in Germany, the Hamburg Branch (1922-1982)

Abstract

The author presents the Hamburg branch of the Alliance of Poles in Germany basing particularly on her own experience and knowledge of the Polish group in Hamburg. In her opinion, the membership of the Alliance examplifies the need for stating the cultural identity and national roots.
