Abstract

Renewable energy production is one of the priority activities underlined in many documents, which describe main goals of development of Poland. One of technologies to produce electricity and heat power in co-generation is anaerobic digestion process. That kind of technology is now developing in many European countries. Particularly fast development in that field can be observed in Germany, where over two thousand agricultural biogas plants are operating. In Poland creating of agricultural biogas plants meets a lot of procedures obstacles and in the same way payment for “green” energy doesn’t give enough encouragement to develop an investment procedures.
