Zarzycki rt@tnkul.pl
The article undertakes the question of divine-human determinants of evangelization. In its first part it explains the mystery of the Person of the Holy Spirit and of His activity in the personal relation between the Father and the Son, and then the nature of His activity in the life of Jesus Christ and in the Church. In its second part it shows the way man cooperates in Christ’s salutary mission in the plane of the Holy Spirit’s activity actualizing Christ’s salutary mysteries in the Church and interiorizing them in the hearts of the faithful.
2021-01-13T19:29:19+01:00 Copyright (c) 2013 Roczniki Teologii Duchowości https://ojs.tnkul.pl/index.php/rtduch/article/view/14789 Community evangelization born from the Church’s experience of communion 2021-01-13T19:35:18+01:00 Paweł Synoś rt@tnkul.pl
In the article the issue of community evangelization springing from the Church’s experience of communion is undertaken. In its initial part the concepts of evangelization and the Church’s communion are precisely defined. Then the author stresses that the Church by its nature has the character of community, which results from both the social nature of man and God’s idea to lead people to salvation not individually, but as a community. Small Christian communities have a special place in the work of evangelization, and it is in them that the Church’s shepherds see one of the most important signs of its revival. It is exactly them that allow to keep and develop faith in the modern world, and at the same time they become dynamic circles involved in evangelization. They give the world a testimony of unity and of Christian love. This love is expressed in preaching the truth of the Gospel, it is fed and consolidated by common celebration of liturgy, and it is made concrete by the service to all people, especially the ones afflicted with suffering.
2021-01-13T19:30:00+01:00 Copyright (c) 2013 Roczniki Teologii Duchowości https://ojs.tnkul.pl/index.php/rtduch/article/view/14790 Testimony in the power of the Spirit as a mode of evangelization 2021-01-13T19:35:19+01:00 Teresa Paszkowska rt@tnkul.pl
The article tackles the issue of testimony as an efficient mode of evangelization. The reflection starts with giving the theological definition of the concept of “testimony” by referring it to the jurisdictional understanding of attestation of the truth. Then the problem of “the power of the Spirit” is analyzed as an indispensable element for one who already has the human qualification of the witness (by actual presence beside Jesus Christ). The article is closed with a reflection on “the mode of evangelization” by testimony in the work of new evangelization and mission ad gentes.
2021-01-13T19:31:04+01:00 Copyright (c) 2013 Roczniki Teologii Duchowości https://ojs.tnkul.pl/index.php/rtduch/article/view/14791 Suffering endured in the spirit of unity with Jesus’ “I crave” ad salvandas animas 2021-01-13T19:35:19+01:00 Adam Rybicki rt@tnkul.pl
The article presents particular elements of the problem sketched in the title: first the very problem of suffering in the context of human existence is discussed; and then the mystery of Christ’s suffering is shown as well as His interpretation of “carrying the cross” and an analysis of His cry “I crave” in the context of the latest exegetic research. The article points to a necessity of unity with Jesus’ “I crave” for all the evangelizing work in the Church.
2021-01-13T19:31:23+01:00 Copyright (c) 2013 Roczniki Teologii Duchowości https://ojs.tnkul.pl/index.php/rtduch/article/view/14792 The Ignatian formula contemplativus in action as an efficient aid in new evangelization 2021-01-13T19:35:19+01:00 Andrzej Jakub Małysa rt@tnkul.pl
The present article is an attempt to look at new evangelization paying special attention to efficiency on the side of the subject conducting it. The disposition that is singled out here is the contemplative attitude when acting. Of all the examples in history of spirituality the figure of St Ignatius of Loyola seems to be the most proper one to show such a style of life. As a point of reference his Spiritual Exercises are used that constitute an especially useful tool for preparing apostles, who amidst various evangelizing undertakings never lose sight of what is most important – the very Lord, who, as the only One, may make what is sown grow and obtain the desired fruit.
2021-01-13T19:31:41+01:00 Copyright (c) 2013 Roczniki Teologii Duchowości https://ojs.tnkul.pl/index.php/rtduch/article/view/14793 The evangelizer’s experience according to Kiko Arguello’s testimony 2021-01-13T19:35:19+01:00 Jan Krzysztof Miczyński rt@tnkul.pl
Kiko-Argüello’s testimony contains a description of his conversion, growing in faith and of his service to God in the Church. It shows a figure of a man who became an evangelizer. The experience of kenosis, a charismatic experience of God in one’s inside as well as in other people – the poor – is inscribed in the history of his life. Kiko emphasizes the power of God’s action during the preaching of the kerygma – the Gospel. He points to the signs, owing to which modern non-believers open their ears to the preaching of the Gospel. They are: unity among the disciples of Jesus and their love for their enemies. The article shows the importance of modern Christians’ mission of evangelization of in the secularized world.
2021-01-13T19:32:16+01:00 Copyright (c) 2013 Roczniki Teologii Duchowości https://ojs.tnkul.pl/index.php/rtduch/article/view/14794 New evangelization and culture in the light of Benedict XVI’s thought. Connections and prospects 2021-01-13T19:35:19+01:00 Jacek Rafał Szewczyk rt@tnkul.pl
The aim of the present article is to make a peculiar synthesis of Pope Benedict XVI’s teaching on modern culture and on new evangelization. Apart from the detailed analyses, the article is focused on showing a broad panorama of the undertaken issues. Starting from a synthetic definition of culture the author points to its close connections with evangelization on the level of the human heart. Then he goes on to show the post-Enlightenment secularism and the false anthropological conception resulting from it as the main sources of the deep crisis of culture, at present especially spread in Europe. Finally the issue of “new evangelization” is discussed with special emphasis on the role of dialog in it, that is supposed to lead to restoration of “full rationality”, more adequate to the human nature, gifted with a craving for God. Also saints and sanctity are pointed to as the basic categories of efficient evangelization and the means that allow stopping further degradation of the cultural environment of man.
2021-01-13T19:32:48+01:00 Copyright (c) 2013 Roczniki Teologii Duchowości https://ojs.tnkul.pl/index.php/rtduch/article/view/14795 “Atheistic humanism” - an areligious, anti-religious or religious phenomenon? 2021-01-13T19:35:19+01:00 Aleksander Posacki rt@tnkul.pl
The aim of the article is to pose the multi-dimensional problem of atheism, which in various forms is opposed to faith and evangelization in the world. The author suggests that atheism is also a form of religion, from which a different possibility of polemics with atheism follows than in the case when it is only understood as a negation of God. Then a religious key is necessary to understand the multidimensional issue of atheism, which enables one to more efficiently oppose this ideology, as a tool of anti-evangelization in the world.
2021-01-13T19:33:26+01:00 Copyright (c) 2013 Roczniki Teologii Duchowości https://ojs.tnkul.pl/index.php/rtduch/article/view/14796 Sprawozdanie z działalności Instytutu Teologii Duchowości za rok akademicki 2012/2013 2021-01-13T19:35:20+01:00 Adam Rybicki rt@tnkul.pl 2021-01-13T19:33:45+01:00 Copyright (c) 2013 Roczniki Teologii Duchowości https://ojs.tnkul.pl/index.php/rtduch/article/view/14797 Ogólnopolskie sympozjum naukowe „Moc proroctwa”.
