Thus, if we want to say that education or upbringing means helping a person in his/her development and growth – its sense covers realisation of the goals which express the way of understanding the world and life, the way of valuing the reality and its evaluation. The effect of such attitude towards the world and life is the person’s declaration on the basic values. Man responds to the call of values ​​and thus not only transforms the world, but also builds himself as a value in this world. The educator is thus faced with the task of equipping the pupil with skills and structures that will develop his readiness to update himself as a person. The aim of the paper is to analyse the discourse of public debate on multiculturalism in England as well as the implications for citizenship education. The paper focuses on the foundations of citizenship education in the context of social cohesion and <em>Britishness</em> under the Labour Party government. It also provides the analysis of the policy toward citizenship education and multiculturalism under the Tories. Thanks to Hulewicz, the “feminine question” appeared permanently in educational historiography. When recognition for the Polish government in London was withdrawn, it was the teachers’ activists who took over the enormous trouble of maintaining Polish education, and thus preventing the denationalization of the young generation of Poles. The aim of the article is to present the situation of teachers in the organizational system of Polish education and the role of the Association of Polish Teachers Abroad, which created the foundations for the system of schools in native subjects. The article also presents the goals of teachers who were overwhelmed by great social passion and love of tradition, various forms of education and their huge role in educating children in Polish culture and tradition. Parents often have no time for other household members. While they are mainly concerned with providing their children with the best possible material conditions, they pay too little attention to satisfying their psychological needs. Hence, the feeling of loneliness, which in contrast to solitude, is always a difficult and unpleasant psychological state, appears more and more often among children. It is in the family that a person learns the value of human work for the first time, experiences it by observing working people or performing various activities. Human work is an important component of the axionormative system of society. It satisfies the needs of human consumption, enables one to realise oneself in contact with the outside world and with other people, and also allows one to undertake life tasks. It makes a&nbsp;person feel that they are needed and that their life makes sense.</p> <p>The present article will show the role of family community in preparing young generations to properly understand the value of work. The study focused on three teachers’ professional satisfaction areas: work with students, relationship with other teachers and personal achievements in relation with their professional situation determined by the type of school, professional experience and vocational training. The purpose of the study was to demonstrate relationship between professional situation of the respondents and the experienced professional satisfaction in the analyzed areas. The research issue was to recognize what the connection between various dimensions of teachers’ work and their professional satisfaction was and to which extent various work factors affect their satisfaction level.The researched group constituted of 446 teachers of various types of schools (elementary, secondary, high schools, vocational schools) with different professional experience and vocational training. However, for many years, candidates for these fields of study have shown a low initial level of their musical skills and interests. Making up for these shortcomings when studying requires courageous actions by the university’s teaching staff and intensified efforts to build a high musical culture of future teachers.
