New Economic and Administrative Structures in the Roman Curia

Abstract

Pope Francis established three coordinating agency for the economic and administrative affairs of the Holy See and the Vatican City State: the Council for the Economy, the Secretariat for the Economy and the office of Auditor General. These entities are competent for the economic control and vigilance of the dicasteries of the Roman Curia and the institutions linked to the Holy See and the Vatican City State. Continuing the reform of the Roman Curia, the Pope Francis transferred the Ordinary Section of the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See to the Secretariat for the Economy.
